Our Love Story

First Encounter

A decade ago, Joshua saw Debi at Chris' old apartment in Göttingen - a city in the middle north west of Germany, about three hundred kilometers from Essen - while pressing fresh juice for Chris. Joshua was helping Chris to move to Essen, another city in the middle of Germany. Debi didn't remember the first encounter until now.
Second Encounter

Fast forward to nine years later! They met each other again at Chris' apartment in Essen, early 2024. Debi brought Chris the food she obtained for him in Medan shortly after her return to Germany.
Third Encounter

On our third encounter, Joshua brought Debi a Monstera plant to Debi's new place in Essen. He had on a olive green shirt. It was at that moment, 29th June 2024, that she fell in love with him.
First Date

About two and a half month later, Joshua, openly showed his interest on Debi by giving her a colourful bouquet of roses. A beautiful gesture - yet he didn't ask her to be his girlfriend. That was right before Tania's birthday party on the 11th September 2024.
On the next day, before Joshua went on his six weeks vacation, she asked him the meaning of his gesture with the roses. Joshua then made his proposal that she should be his girlfriend. They are together as a couple since then.
The Proposal

On the last day of 2024 - on New Years Eve - in Cappadocia, Joshua gave Debi a set of jewellery and proposed to her to be his wife.
Luckily, Debi said yes! Otherwise you guys would not be here at our wedding party
